Assorted freshwater fish sold at the market for P50 to 100 per bundle, which weighs almost two kilos. The freshwater fish, which  comes from the Liguasan Marsh, are sorted depending on the sizes and delivered to the smaller markets (talipapa) in the remote barangays.

Farmers in Midpapan are expected to harvest watermelons on the first week March. Traders from other cities are buying the watermelons, which is locally known as Sandia, from P7 to P9 per kilo. Each fruit usually weighs at least five kilos.  Most farmers in this town have shifted from rice to watermelon farming due to inadequate water supply from the irrigation system. The farmers said that the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is scheduled to reopen the water supply in this part of town on April or May.
